This position is responsible for overseeing the district's school nutrition program and ensuring that students receive safe, nutritious, and appealing meals in an efficient and well-managed environment.

Position Details

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of the district's food service program.
• Plan and manage school breakfast and lunch menus in accordance with USDA and state nutritional requirements.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate food service staff.
• Manage food and supply purchasing, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Monitor food service expenditures and assist with development and management of the department budget.
• Ensure accurate meal counts, records, reports, and program documentation.
• Maintain compliance with USDA, Arkansas Department of Education, health department, and other applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in school food service, food service management, or a related field preferred.
