Job summary

Four Seasons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brooklyn, NY seeks a Food Service Director to oversee the complete food service operation, ensuring top quality care and service for residents. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage budgets, and maintain nutrition-focused records using dietary-management software.

Responsibilities include menu planning, staff supervision, regulatory compliance (DOH and CMS), and upholding high standards of safety and presentation.

Qualifications

• Associates, Bachelor's or Master's degree in dietetics, nutrition, food and nutrition, or a related field.
• Current New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN) credential.
• Registered Dietitian/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) credential preferred or required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a nursing home, hospital, long-term care, or other healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, nutritional assessments, menu planning, and resident care plans.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records and reports, utilizing electronic medical records and dietary-management software.
• Ensure compliance with DOH, CMS, and sanitation regulations, and maintain ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification or equivalent food-safety certification.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire food service operation, ensuring the highest quality of care and excellent customer service to our residents.
