Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Food Service Director to lead Constellation Culinary in Greenwich, CT. The role involves managing all functions of the food service department, leading a team of associates, and ensuring compliance with culinary, safety, and sanitation standards.

The candidate will work with C-suite leaders, manage budgeting and purchasing, and collaborate with other departments to support dining services across high-end corporate environments.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience coordinating high end food service operations.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and company executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a strong focus on client and customer services.
• Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite applications.
• ServSafe and/or HACCP certification (nice to have).

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add a motivated, effective food service director to our Constellation Culinary team in Greenwich,CT. As a food service director, you will have the opportunity to lead a talented team of food service workers and manage all aspects of a high end, premiere, corporate dining F&B operation. Our ideal candidate has worked directly with C-suite level leaders prior.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Manage and lead a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.
• Ensuring that staff meet all culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budgeting for the department, including directly purchasing ingredients and ensuring the account meets all targets and forecasts.
• Conferring with the district manager or other departments regarding the technical and administrative aspects of dining service.

Must-haves:

• Excellent communication skills and experience communicating with both hourly staff and company executives.
• The ability to manage in a diverse environment with a strong focus on client and customer services and satisfaction.
