Job summary

Complete Care at Whispering Woods in Edison, NJ is seeking a Food Service Director to lead our dietary department and ensure nutritious, safe meals for residents. You will oversee kitchen operations, build a high-performing team, and partner with leadership to deliver outstanding dining experiences.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, a ServSafe certification, and prior long-term care kitchen management experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ServSafe certification.
• 2–3 years of long-term care experience preferred.
• Previous kitchen management experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Food Service Education Background preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities
