The Birches of Concord is looking for a Food Service Director to join their team!

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday

Salary: $70,000 - $75,000

If you are an experienced culinary professional with a passion for interacting with people and a desire to work for a company that emphasizes work-life balance, this is an ideal opportunity for you!

While the Food Service Director role includes management duties, it is not solely administrative. You will be hands-on, helping cooks prepare and serve food at least 2 shifts per week, and engaging with residents and families, acting as a liaison when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of food service professionals and ensure quality meal preparation
• Complete daily administrative reports
• Ensure compliance with regulations and Benchmark policies
• Report accidents and incidents
• Follow planned menus and dietary guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and inspect storage areas
• Monitor food temperatures and recordkeeping
• Address resident concerns promptly
• Manage department budget and financial records
• Conduct monthly food advisory meetings with residents
• Work at least one weekend day per week
