Job summary

TKC Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver to operate a company vehicle for an established route. The position is onsite inside a jail/correctional facility, reporting to a Food Service Director. You will assist with loading, unloading, and delivering goods to customer locations.

Ideal candidates are passionate about food and service, with driving safety knowledge. The role requires adaptability, teamwork, and a flexible attitude to meet changing needs.

Qualifications

• One year of experience delivering products or inventory.
• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic rules.
• Ability to transport and set up food and service items.

Responsibilities

• Learn delivery area and routes.
• Check orders for quality and accuracy.
• Follow proper delivery procedures.
• Assist with food preparation, serving, and cleaning.
• Load, unload, and deliver products promptly.
• Report needed maintenance on the vehicle to a manager.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and upkeep.
• Stand or walk for extended periods during shifts.

About This Position

The Delivery Driver will drive a company vehicle for an established route/territory. You will help with the loading, unloading, and delivering goods to customer locations.

You will report to a Food Service Director. This position is located onsite inside of a jail/correctional facility.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Learn the delivery area.
• Check orders for quality and accuracy.
• Follow proper delivery procedures.
• Help with food preparation, serving, and kitchen maintenance, cleaning, and sanitizing.
• Load, Unload, and deliver products and orders promptly.
• Report any necessary maintenance or repairs needed on our vehicle to the manager.
• Maintain and keep the vehicle clean.
• You will have physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift when not driving.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
• One (1) years' experience delivering products/inventory.
• We require a valid state driver's license for assigned vehicles.
• Transport and set up food and food service items.
• Knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic rules.
