Job summary

Trinity Services Group Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver to operate a company vehicle on an established route within a jail/correctional facility, reporting to the Food Service Director.

The role requires open availability for early shifts and weekends, with duties including loading, unloading, and delivering goods, as well as assisting with food preparation and kitchen maintenance. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of delivery experience, 6 months driving a 26-foot box truck, and a valid

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience delivering products/inventory.
• 6 months experience driving a 26-foot box truck.
• Valid state driver’s license for assigned vehicles.
• Transport and set up food and food service items.

Responsibilities

• Learn the delivery area.
• Check orders for quality and accuracy.
• Follow proper delivery procedures.
• Help with food preparation, serving, cooking, and kitchen maintenance, cleaning, and sanitizing.
• Load, unload, and deliver products and orders promptly.
• Report maintenance or repairs needed on the vehicle to the manager.

About This Position

***Must have open availability to work either shift: 5:00am - 2:00pm AND 10:00am - 7:00pm (this includes some weekends and holidays)***

The Delivery Driver will drive a company vehicle for an established route/territory. You will help with the loading, unloading, and delivering goods to customer locations.

You will report to a Food Service Director. This position is located onsite inside of a jail/correctional facility.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Learn the delivery area.
• Check orders for quality and accuracy.
• Follow proper delivery procedures.
• Help with food preparation, serving, cooking, and kitchen maintenance, cleaning, and sanitizing.
• Load, Unload, and deliver products and orders promptly.
• Report any necessary maintenance or repairs needed on our vehicle to the manager.
• Maintain and keep the vehicle clean.
• You will have physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift when not driving.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or Equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• One (1) years' experience delivering products/inventory.
• Must have 6 months of experience driving a 26-foot box truck
• We require a valid state driver's license for assigned vehicles.
• Transport and set up food and food service items.
• Knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic rules.
