Job summary

Trinity Services Group Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver to operate a company vehicle on an established route inside the Wake County Detention Center.

You will load, unload, and deliver goods to customer locations, reporting to the Food Service Director. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of delivery experience, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to food safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 21 years old.
• One year of experience delivering products/inventory.
• Valid state driver's license for assigned vehicles.
• Knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic rules.

Responsibilities

• Learn the delivery area.
• Check orders for quality and accuracy.
• Follow proper delivery procedures.
• Help with food preparation, serving, and kitchen maintenance, cleaning, and sanitizing.
• Load, unload, and deliver products and orders promptly.
• Report any necessary maintenance or repairs needed on the vehicle to the manager.
• Maintain and keep the vehicle clean.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift when not driving.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

About This Position

This position is working inside a jail/correctional facility at the Wake County Detention Center.

The Delivery Driver will drive a company vehicle for an established route/territory. You will help with the loading, unloading, and delivering goods to customer locations.

You will report to a Food Service Director. This position is located onsite inside of a jail/correctional facility.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• You will have physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift when not driving.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 21 years of age.
• One (1) years' experience delivering products/inventory.
• We require a valid state driver's license for assigned vehicles.
• Transport and set up food and food service items.
• Knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic rules.
