Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern NH is seeking a part-time Food Service Coordinator in Belmont, NH. The role entails planning weekly menus, preparing nutritious meals, and serving Club members while ensuring CACFP/SFSP guidelines are met.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one-year job-related experience in food preparation in a cafeteria setting or related field.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Knowledge of food preparation safety standards, health codes, sanitation principles, and nutrition requirements.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability and desire to work with youth ages 5 to 18.
  • Must be able to multi-task and have excellent time-management skills.
  • Must be willing to travel between locations when requested. (Only occasional travel may be required.)

  • Stays within budget for both snacks and meal programs when making purchases.
  • Keeps record of participant data (sign‑in sheets).
  • Maintains a safety‑conscious attitude in performing duties.
  • Cleans and maintains equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

About This Role

Join the administrative team at Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern NH in Belmont, NH as a Food Service Coordinator. This role pays $16.38 - $18.25/Hr and requires no formal credential – just relevant experience.

The Food Service Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Club's food program, including planning weekly menus, preparing nutritious meals and snacks for Club members, and ensuring the efficient day‑to‑day operation of food services. This role also includes maintaining accurate meal documentation, managing food inventory, keeping the kitchen clean and organized, and ensuring compliance with all USDA food program guidelines and requirements.

This part‑time position is based at the Belmont Early Learning Center and is part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire, an organization serving children through 30 Early Childhood and Out of School Time programs with a dedicated team of approximately 200 staff members.

ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS
  • All of the candidates that are offered a job with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire will have to submit for an FBI fingerprint background check and submit to a background check through the State of NH Criminal Records Dept. and First Advantage. Note: The State of NH Childcare Licensing Bureau may prohibit you from being employed by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire should there be a disqualifying finding on your criminal record. In addition, even if the State of NH reviews your records and allows you to work at the Club, we still reserve the right to determine your employment status.
