Job summary

Community Hospital South in Oklahoma City is seeking a Full Time Food Service Cook to prepare meals for patients and retail operations. You will follow current standards and policies, work as part of a team, and ensure clean, organized production and service areas.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines, reliable attendance, and ability to adapt to changing requirements while maintaining quality and efficiency in meal preparation for patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• Three years of Healthcare institutional cooking preferred.
• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares quality meals in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
• Complies with state food service sanitation regulations.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of safety policies and procedures as specified in the department policy and procedure manual.
• Assists in the enhancement of productivity duties as assigned.
• Demonstrates excellent attendance & punctuality.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment.
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential task as assigned.
• Satisfactorily demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties outlined in this job description as well as continually demonstrates competency in performing the job duties.
