Job summary

The Florida Aquarium is hiring a Food Service Cook through SSA Group to deliver warm, welcoming guest experiences and support kitchen prep and daily operations. The role involves bartending duties and may include activity around the tip pool.

You’ll work in a fun, dynamic environment with opportunities for growth and free aquarium membership for family and friends. Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of food preparation experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work varied hours

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, welcoming guest experiences and maintain a SSAfe work environment.
• Support daily restaurant prep (BOH and line) for operations.
• Ensure food quantities, safety logs, temperatures, and waste are properly managed.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, prices and specials for guests.
• Assist with dishwashing and overall clean, safe work area.
