Cook/Baker Position Summary

The Cook/Baker prepares quality food for patients, employees, and the catering service in accordance with established procedures and standardized recipes.

Cook/Baker Position Requirements

• High School Graduate preferred

• Three years of institutional food service with a minimum of 1 year in health care. May substitute 1-year culinary school for general institutional food service experience.
• Baker position requires 3 years baking experience in lieu of general cooking.

Work Schedule

• Generally day shift scheduled between 6 AM to 6:30 PM.
• One shift is regularly scheduled between 9 PM and 7 AM daily.
• Rotating weekends.
• Occasional overtime expected.
