Job summary

ShopRite of MARLTON is seeking a Food Service Associate to deliver a great customer experience through attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable service. You will assist the Food Service Manager, maintain a clean and safe department, and focus on preparing and displaying products in line with company standards.

You will perform duties in accordance with QA standards and safety requirements, greet customers, and participate in ongoing training to support our service priorities and policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Basic math skills required.
• Stand/walk for full shifts.
• Lift 25 lbs regularly, up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly way.
• Team player able to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Stock and maintain shelf, case and display conditions.
• Prepare products (salads, sandwiches, chicken, pizza, pasta) per standards.
• Ensure proper temperatures in display cases and storage areas.
• Follow procedures for receiving, storing, and pricing products.
