Job summary

ShopRite of Williamstown is seeking a Food Service Clerk to deliver an outstanding customer experience in our Williamstown, NJ location. You will assist customers, prepare products, stock shelves, and keep the department clean and safe while following company standards and QA procedures.

Responsibilities include operating department equipment, handling food safely, and maintaining accurate displays, with emphasis on safety, friendliness, and efficiency as core service priorities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Must be able to stand/walk for the full shift.
• Able to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Maintain neat, clean and visually appealing department.
• Stock, rotate and display products.
• Prepare products (salads, sandwiches, entrees) according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure proper temperatures in displays and storage areas.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
