Job summary

The City of Burleson is seeking a Food Service employee to prepare food and beverages, assist customers, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas. This role requires working weekends and holidays, and entails selling and serving to patrons as well as possibly operating beverage carts.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, one year of food service experience preferred, and must obtain TABC certification within 30 days of hire. A valid Texas Class 'C' driver's license and good driving record are also required.

Job description

Primary Duty

Prepare food and beverage items in the grill and assist customers with food and drink orders. Sells and serves food and beverages to grill patrons and cleans dining areas. In addition, may be assigned to work the beverage carts on the golf paths. Working weekends, holidays and nights required.

Must be 18 years old (to serve alcohol).

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year food service experience preferred.

Certificates and Licenses Required

• TABC certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Must have a valid Texas Class "C" driver's license with a good driving record.

Salary: $11.81 - $14.76 per hour
