WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

1. Label and date food products according to established procedures.
2. Manage supplies and resources to minimize waste.
3. Meet schedules and time requirements for food preparation.
4. Practice safe food handling techniques.
5. Prepare and cook/bake food according to standardized recipes.
6. Ensure food products meet quality standards for taste and appearance.
7. Ensure proper usage of kitchen equipment including combo-ovens, slicers, steamers, and mixers.
8. Follow production sheets to ensure correct quantities are made and available to all service areas.
9. Follow sanitation guidelines of federal, state, and HFAP regulatory agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. High School Diploma Required
2. 2 years Institution Cooking Preferred
3. 1 year Food Service and/or Cooking Preferred
4. PRN
