WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT

  1. Assist in the delivery, set-up, and cleaning for special functions.
  2. Assist with catering events and meal delivery.
  3. Ensure food item displays and signage are attractive, neat and orderly.
  4. Grill, deep fry and finish cooking such as pizzas, as required.
  5. Handle cafeteria point of sale (POS) transactions correctly.
  6. Maintain and record food temperatures.
  7. Maintain the work area in a clean, neat and orderly manner.
  8. Practice safe food handling procedures according to standards.
  9. Perform cold food assembly such as the salad bar and grab and go foods, as required.
  10. Serve food according to food regulatory standards for temperature; ensure attractive presentation and appropriate portions.
  11. Set up and stock assigned serving areas in the cafeteria.


QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma/GED Preferred

1 year Healthcare or Hospitality Preferred

1 year Customer Service Preferred

TRAVEL IS REQUIRED:

Never or Rarely
