Job description

Honey Dew Associate Job Description

As a crew member at Honey Dew, you will be actively moving around the store. Training will primarily focus on operating the POS system. You should also be comfortable operating various machines to prepare food for customers. The role requires standing for most of your shift, walking back and forth, and interacting frequently with customers. Customer service is our top priority.

The main responsibilities of a Honey Dew crew member include:

  • Assisting customers at the cash register
  • Taking and filling drive-thru orders (if applicable)
  • Informing customers about current promotions
  • Preparing food safely and responsibly
  • Following Honey Dew guidelines for food and beverage preparation
  • Reporting to work in a clean, approved uniform, including hat or visor
  • Performing cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, washing windows, cleaning equipment, washing dishes, emptying trash, and cleaning bathrooms
  • Supporting fellow team members with various tasks
  • Completing shift reports and reconciling cash
  • Receiving and organizing stock deliveries
  • Maintaining operation logs, including temperature and food waste records

Additional requirements include:

  • Availability for weekend, evening shifts, and holidays
  • Reliable transportation
  • Attendance at mandatory meetings (e.g., T.A.M., sexual harassment training)

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting 1 to 15 lbs
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist
  • Ability to access all store areas freely
  • Moving quickly around the store
