Job summary

Perham Health is seeking a Food Service Worker to support patient meals and dining services. You will prepare and serve meals, clean and sanitize kitchens, dining rooms, and work areas, while building strong relationships with staff and residents.

The role is casual/PRN with rotating shifts and weekend/holiday coverage, offering a collaborative team environment and opportunities for growth within a respected health system.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to operate a cash register, stand or walk for the majority of the shift, and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Good interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and team-player mentality.
• Pass a background study through the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Responsibilities

• As a Food Service Worker, you'll help patients and residents by preparing and serving meals, cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, dining rooms, work areas, and dishes.
• Build relationships with your team, patients, and residents while delivering safe and compassionate service.
