Job summary

Gate Petroleum Company is seeking a Food Service Associate to provide friendly, efficient customer service while assisting with food preparation and store operations. You will work with the Kitchen and Store Managers to control inventory, stock shelves, and maintain cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires flexibility for weekends/holidays, physical endurance for standing and lifting, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
• Must have the ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, and reach (including overhead).
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals for food service equipment.
