The role requires strong communication, a customer-first attitude, and the ability to stand for extended periods with occasional heavy lifting. Eligibility includes meeting safety standards and teamwork within a vibrant Potbelly location.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Friendly, customer-first mindset in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working in a bustling kitchen (knife skills a plus)
• Ability to manage common allergens: peanut, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
• Team player who can stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple stations (load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, front) as directed
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service
• Restock food line, chips and beverages
• Prepare quality sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, and ice cream
• Use slicer if 18 or older and trained
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, and equipment
• Handle cash transactions and balance till end of shift
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues
• Take delivery, catering, and pickup orders when needed
• Perform additional tasks as assigned
