Responsibilities

• The most obvious duty is food preparation. The position must be able to prepare food according to Enerbase procedure guidelines while maintain a high-quality finished product.
• Kitchen duties also include cleaning and maintaining a safe and organized clean area. This will include but not limited to, washing, mopping, sweeping, hauling garbage, possibly shoveling snow, and scrubbing. Managing food inventory is expected by storing, organizing and retrieving food as necessary.
• Some Food Service workers will be required to have knowledge of running a cash register. Proper math and reading skills are required for this. Food Service workers must be able to maintain equipment according to food safety standards.
• Employees are encouraged to become Safe Serve certified and will be paid for the training. Food Service workers are expected to follow all regulatory procedures.
• Performs other duties as requested by Food Service Manager or Store Manager as needed for the success of the department.
