Caswell Developmental Center is seeking an enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to function in the Outfoods area of Dietary Services, assisting with preparation of food served at campus functions, as well as serve in the rotation working at the Sandbar Café, utilizing menu item preparation, cash register operation skills while displaying optimal customer service. Job responsibilities include:

Physical Requirements:
The preferred candidate must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, stoop, bend, stand and walk carrying pans of food for a short distance. Daily exposure to food service equipment with temperatures below 50 degrees and above 140 degrees.

Education and/or experience in food service that is directly related to the job and consistent with accepted practices of the trade.
Degrees must be from appropriately accredited colleges or universities
