Caswell Developmental Center is seeking an enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to function in the Outfoods area of Dietary Services, assisting with preparation of food served at campus functions, as well as serving in the rotation working at the Sandbar Caf, utilizing menu item preparation, cash register operation skills while displaying optimal customer service. Job responsibilities include:

To receive credit for your work history and credentials, you must list the information on the application form. Qualified candidates must document that they possess:
The preferred candidate will have a high school diploma and six months of food service experience in a state-operated program, ICF/IID facility, or school setting.
The preferred candidate must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, stoop, bend, stand, and walk carrying pans of food for a short distance. Daily exposure to food service equipment with temperatures below 50 degrees and above 140 degrees.
Qualifications can be met through an equivalent combination of education and experience. Degrees must be from accredited institutions. For details, see https://oshr.nc.gov/experience-guide.
