Position: Food Service Assistant Manager

Purpose of Position:
Assist the Manager in directing the day-to-day operation of an assigned store in a manner that exceeds Company Goals and Expectations of Total Quality Service to our Guests. Assist in maintaining the store's standards above and beyond Par Mar Stores Image Standards and support the Branded Concept.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager in training and directing all employees to meet daily expectations while complying with applicable laws and regulations.
- Greet and acknowledge guests courteously, using proper greetings and exit statements.
- Personalize guest interactions by observing and using their names when possible.
- Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction through prompt, courteous, knowledgeable service, and quality products.
- Enforce uniform and personal appearance standards at all times.
- Train and lead employees in cash control, cleanliness, organization, food handling, and inventory control.
- Utilize the “Manager’s Redbook” for shift communication and task management.
- Ensure proper handling of company assets, including cash, inventory, and store cleanliness.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and store inspections.
- Maintain stock levels and store appearance.
- Enforce safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Investigate and resolve food quality and service complaints.
- Track sales and customer flow to optimize staffing.
- Maintain recipe standards and portion control.
- Identify and promote employees for advancement based on performance.
- Support community engagement and store promotions.
- Control loss prevention and report dishonest activities.
- Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
- Maintain a professional store atmosphere aligned with company standards.
- Adhere to dress code and store policies to minimize expenses.
- Communicate effectively with management, employees, and guests.
- Support enforcement of company policies and procedures.
- Make objective decisions based on company guidelines and situation analysis.
- Enhance personal knowledge through training and development.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance for company business.
Requirements:
