Job summary

Harrington Park Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated kitchen/food services assistant to support cooks and serve meals to patients in a full-time role. You will help with meal preparation, tray service, and maintaining sanitary dining areas within a nonprofit healthcare setting.

The position offers a starting pay of $15.16 per hour with weekly pay, and a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) with match, paid time off, and a referral bonus program.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or its equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing desserts or snacks for patients.
• Carry trays to patients in halls and serve beverages.
• Clean tables in dining area after meals and help with salads, desserts and other dishes.
• Record freezer and walk‑in refrigerator temperatures according to procedures.
• Follow infection control policies and assist with stock checks and kitchen cleanup.
