Job summary

The role supports patient nutrition, adheres to safety policies, and collaborates with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Starting pay is $14.70 per hour with weekly pay and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) with match,

Qualifications

• Communication skills with patients, families and staff.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication for routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing desserts or snacks for patients.
• Assist cook in meal preparation.
• Carry trays to patients in halls.
• Clean tables in dining area after meals.
• Assist with salads, desserts and other dishes.
• Pour and serve beverages to patients.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments.
• Clean kitchen area, sweep and mop after shifts.
• Record temperatures for freezer/walk-ins as required.
