Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: Contributes to the overall success of LECOM by providing excellent customer service to all customers. Providing prompt service, quality food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment in accordance with LECOM's standards.
Characteristic Job Tasks And Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships;
- Follow protocols and procedures in Institutional education;
- Act with integrity, honesty, and promote the culture, values, and mission of LECOM;
- Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events;
- Evaluate environment and customer cues to anticipate needs and communicate with management;
- Assist with new employee training and coaching;
- Recognize and communicate employee morale and performance issues;
- Deliver excellent customer service with a customer-first attitude;
- Follow operational policies including cash handling and safety procedures;
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace;
- Provide quality beverages and food products, adhering to standards and safety guidelines;
- Recognize individual and team accomplishments;
- Maintain punctual attendance;
- Support LECOM's mission through institutional fundraising and community involvement;
- Participate in scholarly activities to enrich student learning;
- Engage in community outreach and serve on boards as appropriate;
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure efficient work unit functioning.

Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required; previous customer service experience preferred.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality;
- Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays;
- Meet store policies including quality, cash handling, and safety standards;
- Engage with customers to understand and respond to their needs;
- Prepare food and beverages according to recipes and customer specifications;
- Perform various tasks within the store during each shift.
