Job summary

The Missouri Veterans Commission is seeking a Food Service Assistant to support nutritious meals for our Veterans at the Missouri Veterans Home. You will assist with meal selection, tray line assembly and serving.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterans meals, including meal selection, tray line assembly, and serving.
• Prepare foods as assigned.
• Deliver and pick up food carts to/from resident areas.
• Clean dining area, sweep/mop floors, and remove garbage.
• Operate dish machine and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Lift, carry and transfer heavy food containers, load, stock, label and rotate.

Hourly Pay

• $16.99 - $17.09 day shift
• $18.99 - $19.09 evening shift
