Job Summary and Qualifications

The Food Service Worker handles daily tasks such as tray assembly, food portioning, snack and supplement preparation, delivery of floor stock and patient trays, ensuring safety and sanitation policies are followed, and providing excellent customer service.

• Process menus and assemble patient trays accurately.
• Deliver trays, verify patient identity, and handle pediatric trays appropriately.
• Sanitize carts, dishware, and utensils per health regulations.
• Manage late tray deliveries and check for soiled trays post-meal.
• Prepare and deliver nourishments and therapeutic diets as per menu and patient needs.
• Control food portions and record temperatures of equipment.
• Stock and clean work areas and equipment, report shortages, and follow sanitation procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma (preferred), with experience in healthcare food services and clerical work being advantageous.
