Lutheran SeniorLife is seeking a Food Service Assistant to support daily Nutrition Service operations at our western Pennsylvania facilities. The role involves setting up, serving and sanitizing meals for residents, staff and guests, with duties including dishwashing, pot/pan processing and nourishment preparation.

Food Service Assistant

Rates starting at $15 per hour.

We are offering a $4,000 Sign-On Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment) for the Food Service Assistant.

The Food Service Assistant combines a variety of job functions to assist in the daily operations of the Nutrition Service department. The Assistant is responsible for the set-up/service/sanitation of all meals to residents, staff, visitors and for special functions in some/all of the following capacities: dishwashing operations, pot/pan processing, staff and visitor meal service, snack shop, service, sanitation, workstation and nourishment preparations, etc.

Qualifications
