Lutheran SeniorLife is hiring a Food Service Assistant in Zelienople, PA. This part-time role covers the daily operations of the Nutrition Service department, including meal setup, service, sanitation, and occasional dishwashing and snack shop duties.

Starting wage is $15/hour with an additional $8/hour premium on weekends. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered, payable over the first year of employment. The organization provides a range of health, retirement, and professional development benefits.

Food Service Assistant

Rates starting at $15 per hour,with an additional premium pay of $8/hour when working within weekend guidelines.

Daylight shift: 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. every other weekend, and some 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. during the week.

The Food Service Assistant combines a variety of job functions to assist in the daily operations of the Nutrition Service department. The Assistant is responsible for the set-up/service/sanitation of all meals to residents, staff, visitors and for special functions in some/all of the following capacities: dishwashing operations, pot/pan processing, staff and visitor meal service, snack shop, service, sanitation, workstation and nourishment preparations, etc.

Qualifications

Food Service Assistant qualifications include
