Job summary

Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, OH, is seeking a Food Service Aide to support patient meals and general food service operations. You will perform cold production, assemble patient trays, handle cashiering tasks, and help maintain sanitation standards.

The role requires basic reading/writing, good communication, mathematical ability, and the stamina to lift up to 30 pounds. Training includes safety protocols and adherence to PPE guidelines; probation lasts 90 days.

What You Will Do:

Under the direction of the Director & Executive Chef, the Food Service Aide performs a variety of food service functions. Requirements of this position include: cold food sandwich pre-prep, sandwich assembly to order, pizza making, and customer service, check assembly and food distribution, patient tray assembly, cashiering, and dish room duties.

• Successful completion of a ninety (90) day probationary period.
