Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• At least six months of experience in the food service industry.
• Knowledge of proper food service sanitation methods and equipment.

• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with general information and inquiries.
• Obtain products requested by residents.
• Wash objects by hand or with cleaning equipment.
• Properly and safely prepare various food products following standard handling procedures.
• Wash dishes and utensils; store items in an organized manner.
• Stock storage areas with various products.
• Clean dining, kitchen, and storage areas; assist with large cleaning projects.
• Assist cooks and coordinate activities with others.
• May prepare food or cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, meats.
• Other duties as assigned.
