Pilgrim Place In Claremont, a welcoming senior living community in Claremont, CA, is seeking a dependable Food Service Aide. You will prepare and serve meals for residents, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety procedures to ensure comfort, dignity, and independence for residents.

Qualifications

• 1 year of quantity food service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepares assigned food items, including vegetables, fruit, salads, and meal setup.
• Supports meal service, dining room preparation, and cleanup after meals.
• Follows proper cleaning, laundry, and sanitation procedures in all work areas.
• Organizes, stores, and rotates supplies while maintaining food safety standards.
• Assists with special events, safety practices, and other assigned kitchen duties.

In this role, you’ll provide personal care and support that helps residents maintain comfort, dignity, and independence.

Schedule Requirement

This position requires full open availability, including weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Shifts may vary based on operational needs.

What You’ll Do

• Prepares assigned food items, including vegetables, fruit, salads, and meal setup.
• Supports meal service, dining room preparation, and cleanup after meals.
• Follows proper cleaning, laundry, and sanitation procedures in all work areas.
