Fort HealthCare is a patient-centered hospital and healthcare system serving individuals, businesses, and families in Jefferson, Dane, and Walworth Counties. We are seeking a Food Service Aide to join our skilled Food Service team.

Shift:
32 hours per bi-weekly pay period
Part-time

The Food Service Aide is responsible for duties including patient tray assembly and delivery, cleaning, and sanitation of the food service area and equipment.

Responsibilities include:

1. Checking patient trays for accuracy, delivering trays, following through with patient requests, tracking deliveries, and picking up trays from nursing units.
2. Verifying patient identification for proper tray delivery.
3. Setting up the dish room, collecting and washing dishes, operating the dish machine, and performing daily cleaning of kitchen equipment and work areas.
4. Recording dish machine temperatures and pH levels of sinks.
5. Returning clean dishware, utensils, pots, and pans to appropriate areas.
6. Assisting with catering events as needed.
7. Empting garbage from the kitchen and dishroom and disposing of it properly.

Requirements:

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and commitment to quality customer service.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
