Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous server experience preferred.
• Must complete TiPS Certification.

• Can consistently comprehend, retain, and execute written, verbal, and demonstrated directions.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and management.
• Must obtain and maintain a license issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains a fun and welcoming environment for guests.
• Greets and serves guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Operates the POS system and handles cash and other financial transactions accurately.
• Records all food and beverage revenues and receipts of money, credit cards, complimentary and coupon settlements.
• Prepares settlement paperwork in a consistent and organized manner.
• Monitors alcohol consumption by guests, adhering to company policy and Maryland law.
• Makes inventory and restocks as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitary conditions in the work area.
• Communicates guest compliments and complaints to Food & Beverage Management.
• Promotes excellent customer relations and honesty among the team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
