Job summary

Chatsworth Commons Senior Living in Chatsworth, CA is seeking a Server to uphold a clean, welcoming dining room and assist residents during meals. You will prepare dining areas, serve residents and guests, buss and reset tables, and help maintain infection control and safety standards.

Previous food service experience is preferred, with a High school diploma or equivalent. Certification such as Food Handlers or Serv Safe is a plus; we offer a supportive team and a competitive benefits package

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe dining room and service area.
• Prepare dining room and service areas before each meal.
• Serve residents and guests as they arrive in the dining room at serving times.
• Buss tables during meals.
• Clean and reset dining room after each meal.
• Clean and organize service area after each meal.
• Store and label food properly for infection control.
• Record meal counts after each meal.
• Clean equipment and work areas according to schedule.
• All other duties as assigned by Culinary Director/Chef/Lead Cook or Executive Director

  • $25/month – Full-Time

  • $12.50/month – Part-Time

  The stipend begins following successful completion of the 90-day introductory period.
