Job summary

Truckee Gaming, LLC is seeking a Food Server to join our team near Verdi, NV, just outside Reno in the Sierra Mountains. You will deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely, friendly manner while upholding casino standards.

A strong focus on customer service and accuracy is essential. The role includes shift duties, learning menu items, and contributing to a high-paced dining environment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience working as a Food Server within casino environment preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English language – speak and read.
• Basic adding and subtracting skills
• Ability to correctly count out change for Guests
• Excellent customer service skills and employee relations skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work in high pressure, fast paced environment
• Must be able to multitask
• Ability to read and memorize all menu and beverage items
• Must be able to operate a Point of Sale register

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from Guests for all food and beverage requests
• Serves all food and beverage items in a friendly, professional and timely manner
• Clears tables during service
• Refills drink orders as needed during service
• Maintains proper conditions and cleanliness of the dining and service areas.
• Assists other Front of House employees as needed including seating tables, cashiering, and bussing tables
• Follows instructions and standards provided by supervisor
• Ensures that minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages

Food Servers deliver food and beverage items for our Guests in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned).

• Takes orders from Guests for all food and beverage requests
• Serves all food and beverage items in a friendly, professional and timely manner
• Ensures that minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages
• Clears tables during service
• Refills drink orders as needed during service
• Ensures that stations and table set-ups are complete and perform various side work duties as needed or assigned by Supervisor
• Maintains proper conditions and cleanliness of the dining and service areas.
• Ensures equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
• Assists other Front of House employees as needed including, but not limited to, seating tables, cashiering, and bussing tables
• Follows instructions and standards provided by supervisor

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
