Job summary

Post Consumer Brands in Northfield, MN is seeking a Food Scientist II to serve as the plant's frontline technical expert. You will drive product quality, manufacturing excellence, food safety, process optimization, and commercialization of new formulations.

The role collaborates with Operations, Quality, Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to improve plant performance and consumer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of CP G experience in food manufacturing or related fields,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related technical discipline.
2 to 5 years of CP G experience in food manufacturing, product development, process engineering, or quality assurance.
Experience in cereal manufacturing or consumer packaged goods is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

Serve as the frontline technical resource for ingredient functionality, product performance, and manufacturing processes.
Drive improvements in product quality, consistency, and finished product identity.
Lead cross-functional teams focused on solving complex manufacturing challenges.
Support plant safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain production work instructions and process documentation.
