Flying Food Group is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Tech to support QA operations in a busy facility. The role focuses on maintaining records, monitoring GMP/HACCP compliance, and assisting with inspections and audits.

Responsibilities include preparing documentation, organizing samples, tracking temperatures and batch records, and ensuring proper labeling and traceability. Proficient use of MS Office required; independent work and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a FSQ Clerk/Tech or in a similar clerical role.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SOPs, and sanitation standards.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• English proficiency; bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist FSQ team with daily food safety and quality assurance activities.
• Complete and maintain food safety and quality records accurately and on time.
• Perform routine checks of production areas for GMP and sanitation compliance.
• Collect and organize products, ingredients, and environmental samples as directed.
• Monitor and record production data, including temperatures, weights, and other quality parameters.
• Verify that production paperwork, labels, and batch records are complete and accurate.
• Assist with document control, filing, and FSQ records per procedures.
• Support product hold, release, and traceability documentation under guidance of FSQ staff.
• Notify FSQ personnel of any safety/quality/regulatory concerns.
• Assist with calibration logs, sanitation verification, and pre-operational inspection docs.
• Prepare materials and records for audits.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of FSQ supplies and work areas.
• Manage FSQ supply inventory and notify when replenishment is needed.
