Job summary

CJ Schwan’s is seeking an experienced Food Safety & Quality Supervisor for our Asian foods plant in Fullerton, CA. This role ensures products are safe and meet quality standards in a large manufacturing facility, leading HACCP programs and FSQ teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in FSQ with leadership experience, a Bachelor's degree, and familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, and regulatory requirements. This on-site role offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FSQ experience, with 2+ years leading or managing an FSQ team.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• HACCP certification preferred; experience in food/beverage manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance across all manufacturing areas and manage HACCP programs implementation.
• Approve raw materials for production through sampling and inspections; monitor packaging quality.
• Coordinate safety, discipline and regulatory compliance with company policies and local/federal regulations; ensure employee safety awareness.
• Oversee training programs for HACCP, GMPs and other regulations; ensure documentation and program adherence.
• Conduct preoperative sanitation inspections and take corrective actions for unsanitary conditions.
• Monitor raw ingredient programs including sampling, testing and reporting to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Supervise, train and develop subordinates; assist FSQ policy development; audit and resolve customer complaints.
