Job summary

Cargill is seeking a Food Safety Quality and Regulatory Specialist based in Sidney, Ohio. The role focuses on maintaining food safety and quality systems, conducting audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance across suppliers and facilities.

Responsibilities include leading audits, coordinating the food safety team, and investigating incidents to implement corrective actions. A related degree and HACCP/PCQI training are preferred; relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• HACCP and/or PCQI training/certification preferred.
• Experience in food, feed, agricultural processing, oilseed processing, or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, food safety systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting or leading internal, customer, regulatory, or GFSI certification audits.

Responsibilities

• Verify and maintain food safety and quality systems and hazard analyses.
• Lead relevant regional, corporate and regulatory food safety audits.
• Coordinate food safety team and oversee the food safety management system.
• Investigate food safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and FSQR.
