Cargill is hiring a Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory Technician I in Columbus, NE. You will support compliance with USDA-FSIS, company and customer standards while collaborating with production teams and inspectors to prepare products for inspection and ensure a safe manufacturing environment.

The role requires basic math, reading and writing English, and the ability to handle knives and other tools safely in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsabilités

• Monitor USDA-FSIS regulatory activities and plant compliance.
• Prepare carcasses and product components for inspection using approved tools.
• Perform food safety and quality monitoring throughout production.
• Document inspection results, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Work in fast-paced production environments with PPE and physical tasks.
• Overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
