Job summary

Under the FSQA & EHS supervision, you will measure, evaluate, and test samples, inspecting materials, in‑process goods, and finished products to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, and customer specifications. You will document results, assist with calibration of testing equipment, and collaborate with production teams to address

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in food science or biology is a plus.
• Experience in quality control in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and SQF regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complies with GMP policies and records in accordance with company standards.
• Conducts daily GMP facility audits with corrective action follow-up.
• Monitors raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for quality.
• Supports calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
• Collects data from quality tests and prepares reports for production.
• Collaborates with production to address quality issues in real time.
• Investigates customer complaints and helps implement corrective actions.
• Performs pre-operational inspections at start of production runs.
• Communicates effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Maintains clean and organized workspaces per safety standards.
