Job summary

Flying Food Group is seeking an FSQ Manager in Colorado to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Procedures and FSQ standards. The role collaborates with facility personnel on quality assurance and regulatory issues.

You will lead audits, train staff on FSQ requirements, and drive a Food Safety and Quality Culture across departments, while maintaining FDA and USDA documentation and responding to inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. Degree from a 4-year university.
• 3-5 years of experience in the food industry.
• Experience in a USDA facility is a plus.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Procedures and HACCP concepts.
• Communicate FSQ requirements to employee groups.
• Conduct audits of vendor facilities and product ingredients.
• Provide management training on FSQ requirements.
• Review inspection reports and take timely corrective actions.
• Oversee FDA and USDA document requirements to maintain compliance.
• Develop a Food Safety and Quality culture across departments.
