Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent with two years of related experience.
• Knowledge of HACCP/Food Safety Plans, cGMP and prerequisite programs.
• Demonstrated skill in leading, coaching, teaching, and supervising employees.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer functions (spreadsheets, word processing, email).
• Ability to actively participate in and lead teams.
• Proficiency in microbiological and analytical methods.
• Ability to write standard operating procedures and reports.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to FSQ Quality Systems and monitor conditions affecting food safety and quality.
• Supervise FSQ personnel and laboratory activities including scheduling and performance evaluation.
• Conduct defined 1:1 meetings with direct reports.
• Investigate and document customer complaints to determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Perform internal inspections and lead corrective actions regarding findings and trends.
• Oversee inspections, recalls, audits and calibration activities.
• Update quality-related documents as required (HACCP and Food Safety Plans, labels).
• Provide training and support to maintain safety and quality as core values.
