We are hiring a Food Safety & Quality Supervisor - 2nd Shift located in Beaumont CA. This position ensures that all products produced are safe and wholesome and that they meet company standards for quality and consistency in a large manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure compliance across all manufacturing areas (raw materials, processing, finished products, storage, handling, shipping) and manage the development and implementation of HACCP programs.
  2. Approve raw materials for production through sampling and inspections, and monitor packaging containers for quality and capacity.
  3. Coordinate safety, discipline, and compliance with company policies and local/federal regulations, ensuring employee safety awareness.
  4. Oversee training programs for HACCP, GMPs, and other regulations, ensuring proper documentation and program adherence.
  5. Conduct preoperative sanitation inspections and take corrective actions for unsanitary conditions, ensuring compliance.
  6. Monitor raw ingredient programs, including sampling, testing, and reporting, to ensure conformance to specifications and finished product quality.
  7. Supervise, train, and develop subordinates, assist in FSQ policy development, and ensure regulatory compliance through audits and resolution of customer complaints.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of five years related experience.
  3. Demonstrated intermediate level proficiency in SAP.
  4. HACCP Certification preferred.
  5. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, as well as professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations as well as product specifications.
  6. Experience in food or beverage manufacturing helpful.

Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $58,500 to $97,500 annually with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus, based on organizational performance. The pay range considers factors like education, skills, work experience, certifications, and geography. Starting pay may vary within this range.
