Job summary

Johnsonville, LLC has an exciting 8 month FSQ Co-op with our Research & Development team in Sheboygan Falls, WI. The term of the internship would be January through August or May through December 2027. (The timeframe can be adjusted to fit the student's needs). (Minimum would be 6 months).

Join us in 2027 at the Johnsonville Technical Center on our Sheboygan Falls campus, which includes a packaging lab, pilot plant, product evaluation area, R&D, and engineering team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Food Safety, Quality, Microbiology, or related field.
• Minimum 2.70 overall GPA; core concentration GPA 3.0 required.
• Junior or senior status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train new and existing members in food safety and quality programs.
• Audit food safety and quality programs and verify product quality standards.
• Identify, define, and solve food safety and quality issues with business impact.
• Participate in third party audits with exceptional results.
• Lead a team or project with minimal instruction to an expected outcome.
• Understand product procedures, HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, SOPs and related plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and prioritize effectively.
