Job summary

US1601 Coastal Sunbelt Produce, LLC is seeking an Environmental/Quality Assurance professional to identify, monitor, and control critical production steps to prevent hazards, applying controls and coaching teams to uphold best practices in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires conducting HACCP checks, ATP testing, and ensuring GMPs, HACCP, and SOP compliance across Value-added departments, including operating the metal detector and guiding leadership on corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Highschool or GED required.
• Some knowledge of food processing and quality programs.
• At least 2 years production experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify, monitor, and control critical steps to prevent hazards and ensure safety.
• Complete HACCP checks and document in Audit Comply.
• Perform Preoperational Inspection including ATP Testing.
• Ensure GMP, HACCP, and SOP compliance across value-added departments.
• Operate metal detector.
• Coach colleagues on food safety programs and compliance.
• Maintain secure storage chemical cages and cabinets.
• Communicate issues to Value-Added Leadership promptly.
